Mack Brown to "Retire" at UNC

DMN reports this morning that per UNC AD, 73 year old Mack Brown "won't return for 2025 season."

He is their programs second alltime winningest coach (113 wins).

Tar Heels are 6-5, (3-4 ACC) this season.

Yeah, sad to learn his departure from UNC was ugly like it was from UT.

There is more to the story how Brown had a role in undermining / keeping Saban from taking his job at UT back in 2013. @SabreHorn probably knows the details of that.
