Johnny is in town this weekend partying with the Fijis and supposedly trying to talk the recruits in town out of committing to Texas and going to A&M. Very interesting.
Exactly how is he supposedly having contact with recruits? Last time JM was at a UT frat party they were throwing beer cans at him.
He has a lot of friends that came to UT, but still its ironic that even after leaving A&M hes here partying it up at frat houses. And some of these recruits are allegedly going to some of these parties while they are here. Still all very interesting. Not sure how much of an impact he would make, but its kind of pathetic nonetheless.
You'd think with his morals and self-centeredness, he'd want aggy to crash after he left, so he could brag about how he made that program while he was there. His daddy probably needs to have a talk with him about how to best position his aggy legacy.
Wow, that is the first time I've seen Taps pull rank on how he's a One True Scotsman on here. You must have hit a nerve. Because, you know, donating money and being a lifetime member, blah blah blah, makes your opinion matter more than anyone else on the internet As for Johnny, curious if there is any violations going on here. I'm sure him coming here of his own volition without being asked by A&M is perfectly in NCAA guidelines, it just seems Johnny doesn't do anything unless its for his benefit.
Perfect place for a fanbase squabble...the Johnny dipsh** thread. That guy's negative energy even rubs off on message boards.
To recruits: "One coaching staff produced a starting quarterback in the NFL, and one coaching staff produced this dipsh**. Which one would YOU choose?"
I think the kind of person who would be swayed by JFF and his approach to preparation and excellence should probably go to Texas A&M. They would likely be a poor match for a Charlie Strong led program. If my son were a college bound athlete, getting advice from Manziel would be only slightly less disturbing than his having a date with Lindsay Lohan.
