Was anybody as disappointed in Young's play as I was? I saw him whiff at a ball at third that lead to the big inning in the first game against SF. Then he did it again later in the series, am i the only one that sees this and thinks that we need to replace Young at third? Uribe was a beast, maybe he just made Young look bad.
Age is beginning to show its ugly head in Michael. His range and flexibility have deteriorated over the past couple of seasons (with a big drop-off in 2010). Rumor is he is destined for FB which will be fine as long as he can hit around .300.
I'd give him another year, but yes he did look to be regressing in quickness and skills. One line drive in the alcs or ws he was very slow/ flat footed. Should have snared it but it was a key hit
