I think the AAS needs some help with Monday's presser. Dear Kirk Bohls and Brian Davis: Rather than execute another Monday press conference filled with softball questions for Tom Herman, may I suggest a few? 1) Coach Herman - When did you lose the locker room and how do you plan to get it back? 2) Coach Herman - Do you care than many if not most fans and alumni have become apathetic to the program due to your leadership, poor execution, poor preparation and losses to inferior opponents? 3) Coach Herman - Did we win Sunday practice again this week? 4) Coach Herman - Do you support Tom Landy being honored with a statue in DKR?
If they got to #4, undoubtedly his response would be "Who". I strongly object to the use of the term "softball"; a more appropriate term would be "beach ball". What time is his press conference and where do I get it live. What ever happened to the Ed Clemmons call-in show?
Coach Herman - Should the team remove the "WeAreOne" patch from their jerseys or is it to Honor Sam's relentless effort to carry this team on his back and the only player to stand for "Eyes" after the game?
I don't know what the questions will be, but th will make the following declarations: Respect for blowU and the job Lincoln and his coaches have done. Winning is hard. Our guys never gave up. We won practice on Sunday. It's getting as predictable as Charlie's "We just have to play better."
Teams generally play like they practice. If a team keeps losing and the coach keeps saying "Well practice was great all week long", then either the coach is poor at evaluating the results of practice, or else the practices are not being constructed in a way that properly prepares the team for games.

What a total tool job. People, it is NOT Herman's fault. The blame rests clearly at the feet of the social justice committee - has to be because Tommie Terrific said so multiple times I have NEVER heard any coach say, "do something they are uncomfortable doing". WTF? You are a student athlete getting free room, board, books & tuition, plus spending money, and a chance to play on the national stage. We wouldn't want these poor little ******* doing something that made them uncomfortable. I know I'm old, but does anybody else remember Frank's 100 pound vest? Workouts in the sauna? Counting the rows 1-78 while running stands? Was that "comfortable"? How "comfortable" were they laying under a mound of Sooners? Tool job Tommie needs to take his ******* and get the hell out of Travis County.
@SabreHorn, my1970s August practices in Fort Worth for the Blue Raider league were tougher than what these guys probably endure. Our coaches called us, 8-10 year olds, panty waists, wussies. Herman offers hugs and kisses.
I have told this story, but here goes again... I had a coach who had us do some hitting drill. If you didn't hit hard enough, 8-10 years old, he pointed at the track and said "Hook 'em", meaning run a lap in the August heat in full pads, not expressing his love of the Longhorns. Surprised I became such a big fan being told to hook 'em so many times before I got pissed and started knocking guys on their asses.
