Texas Football's NCAA 150th Year Anniversary College Football Patch

Will the NCAA get preferential placement over Gallery Furniture, Jim Adler, Longcar & Associates.

Just go ahead and scrap the numbers so the unis look like NASCAR suits.

Also, it's really hard to believe the NCAA has lasted 150 years.

How about a patch like "NCAA - dropping the ball & ******* things up for 150 years"

Well, I’m ok with it. In fact, does anyone remember what happened when the NCAA turned 100?

History tends to repeat itself.

 

The jersey is perfect, it just doesn’t generate enough revenue for modern athletics.

 

Can't you just add a swoosh? Kinda like a burnt orange Penn State?

Needs something on the left shoulder to balance out the NCAA patch. (It's just the OCD in me. Sorry.)

 

Surprisingly, this doesn't bother me.

Maybe it will distract dem coonasses from Red Stick.

 

It seems like a lot of y'all just want to do the bare minimum on these new unis.....

 

Me, to the NCAA, the Big 12, Nike, and everyone else that wants to put their flair on our jerseys.

Actually, they haven't. The NCAA was found in 1910 (or 1906 if you count it under the original name). Hard to believe they've lasted over 100 years though.

Why not only have a 150 in a football sticker on the helmet like was done in 1969 for the 100th Year of College Football? There are too many logos and such on our uniforms. Go back to a more simplified look, and a darker burnt orange jersey.

Yeah, the 100 stickers never looked cool. Chances are a lot of people here like them because they associate the stickers with one of the greatest seasons in the history of Texas football.

Like our jerseys, there's already too much clutter on the helmets. How about no patch? We could try that.
