You may be the guy who could know the answer to a question that has long perplexed me. It is about the sentence "Eat **** and die." Is that a kind of fatalistic statement about the inevitability and meaninglessness of life, pointing out a three part sequence, the first two parts of which, eating and shitting, are repeated over and over until we all eventually die. Or is it a expletive, demanding a two part sequence, that the person addressed ingest excrement and subsequently die.
