I've been mostly a lurker here for quite some time so I'm a little nervous about this request since most of you don't know me. My 10 year old daughter was admitted to the ICU at Brackenridge Children's Hospital after suffering multiple seizures and she's suffered a hemmorage a the base of her brain stem. Her blood pressure was off the charts - at one time reaching 270/177. She's in very critical condition and her prognosis is not good. Just ask for your thoughts and/or prayers for Hannah. She's the light of my life and the most precious gift a daddy could ask for. She's also a die-hard 'horns fan like me and looks forward to every game she gets to go to with me and her brother. Please pray that she gets to continue to do that. Sincere thanks, -Craig note: Katie and/or moderators - I put this on this forum so that the largest number of people could see it. If this is not appropriate, please accept my apologies and move it to another forum.
Horn_Daddy, As a father of a 10 y/o girl I teared up and closed my office door after reading your request. Rest assured that I will pray for your angel and will ask God to provide her w/ the strenth to get through this terrible situation. God Bless
Wow Craig! I was holding my 3 mo. old son when I read this post. Although I'm speechless, I held my son very tightly. You most certainly have my time and prayers for Hannah. These aren't mere words. God be with your family.
Craig, take heart in knowing that many people from the Hornfans community will be praying for Hannah, you, and your family. I am certainly one of them. May God bless you all and give you peace in this tough time.
Horn Daddy, About 10 years ago, my father suffered almost the exact same illness. At the time he had a very poor prognosis. Although, he never made a complete recovery, he survived and is still enjoying his life and his family. So, as poor as her prognosis may seem, keep praying and don’t loose hope. She’s in all of our prayers
I'm actually tearing as I'm reading/writing this. My wife and I are expecting our first in July. I know that I have no idea what it's like to have a child yet but I already love that unborn baby so much it hurts. You are certainly in my prayers and I will add you to the list of prayers at the church I attend.
