I got too heavy for it. It's a beautiful Pinarello with SL tubing and Chrome Fork and stays, Campy Super Record and Mavic Wheels (traditional spokes). I need to get the wheels re-spoked (they are broken on one wheel), and I haven't ridden it for years. It's a 56 cm frame and was a joy to ride for years (raced it in a few Cat 4 races in the '80s). I thought I might sell it, but I googled its value and found a few bicycle forums that made me realize that it is valued, but I would have to fix a few things before selling it. I fear that if I do so, I will have such a nice object that I won't want to give it up, yet I don't know when I would ever have the time to ride seriously again. I have the same problem with my Feinwerkbau Model 2. What to do?
Pass it along to your kids at whatever point they can appreciate what a nice piece of art that bike is.
