My sweet Dave kitty ...

If you’ve a mind to, please say a prayer for my cat Dave Growl. He is my best friend, and he’s very sick. I’m taking him to the vet again tomorrow. He has had a basically incurable pneumonia along with a hyperactive thyroid. I thought I was going to lose him in the fall, but he rallied. Now, however, he’s fading.

Please pray for me, too, that I will have the courage and the selflessness to do right by him when his time comes.

 

Many of us have been there. This is not an easy time, but know that you and Dave Growl are in our thoughts and prayers.

I took my precious Dave to the vet yesterday. It turns out he is suffering from rhinusitis. It’s not pneumonia, but it is hard to treat in cats. But my wonderful Aggie vet gave him two shots, and today Dave is much better. I spent pretty much all day with him, and he hasn’t sneezed or coughed at all.
