This week the Horns are ranked an impressive 52nd this week in the NCAA Net Rankings up from 57th last.

That NC State team we barely beat is 120th. Syracuse is 154th. Upcoming UCONN is 34th at 6-3.

Who is #1? Tennessee and the fighting Rick Barnes.

Lol, not really. But we've all been hashing this out since Barnes departure. What is happening in Tennessee and Marquette is not what was happening here. Why? I don't know, but it is what it is.

And before we start waxing poetic about Barnes, it was time for him to go. He was burned out going 80-57 (58% winning percentage) in his last four years and went 3-6 in the NCAA tourney in his final seven years with a first round CBI loss in the middle. I loved Barnes and am happy he's doing well at Tennessee, but he was not getting it done here anymore.
