Us - some fast runners
Them - a so-so catcher
Results - multiple steals
Remember though, all the knowledgeable fans who said we have no bats. This cannot actually be happening.
More runs! 6-2.
So-so fielding results in 2 runs for us.
Looks like Kerkering is largely living outside the zone tonight!
They've got another reliever warming up in the bullpen.
Homerun hitting monster Brutcher's up to lead off this half inning for da Bulls.
Hmmm, he's a pretty swift runner too.
Texas Rangers' and Houston Astros' offices -- keep an eye on that guy...
Just need to outpitch the opposition from here on out.
And rolls a weak grounder to 2nd.
Can't take him lightly. He almost beat us single-handedly last night.
and Babe Ruth struck out a lot...
USF 2nd pitcher has as many pitches as Stevens.
I like the mental check of the batters flashing the sign back to the dugout anytime they get to 2 strikes in the count. I will not take a called third strike. Not sure who’s idea - Pierce or the players or maybe Tulo?
Stevens-- only 36 pitches through 3 innings.
I agree with that. Yet even the most dangerous batters are successful less often than they fail.
Lance Ford for Melendez. At least he makes contact
Texas is playing some D!
Quite nicely done by our catcher.
Allsome tag at home!!!!!!!
Really swell fielding Horns!
Damned fine pitch to end the inning.
Ok Horns, let's get than run back a a couple more!!
Commentators love USF
They always fluff the underdog.
Cinderella Stockholm Syndrome. Or something like that.
Some ballsy inside corner fastballs to Brutcher.
Faltine lets get another double!!
Kerkering, lucky for you this isn’t an ice hockey game (after a throw like that)
Kerkering looks to be losing what control he had from earlier. 61 pitches and counting.
