Big 12 goes 6-0. Makes strong statement that it is the best BB conference this year. Five of the six wins were not very close.

Congrats to all the teams. Especially the Longhorns!!

My brain was thinking “Arizona” but my thumbs typed out “Purdue.” Odd how that happens.

 

Holy smokes—UNC with a 13-point halftime lead over Baylor, the #1 seed in our region! Two-seed Kentucky gone, 1-seed Baylor struggling, us beating 3-seed Purdue tomorrow—I’m liking our chances!

Just noticed Baylor was playing in Ft Worth; basic home game, but I suppose that’s fair as a #1 seed.

 

If we can get by Purdue, I like our chances to make the Final Four.

 

My next door Heels neighbor is really pumped. He always supports the Horns so glad for him.

Yep!! And I loved every minute of it. Baylor folks I was around were already talking Final Four and a few were clearing space for the NC Trophy.

 

Other Texas schools are going to have to step up...mom has about $3700 in furniture from Gallery riding on the outcome of the tourney. Not that she cannot afford it without the win, but free furniture is a sweet bonus.

(If no Texas team makes the Final Four, then it comes down to whether the team which is geographically closest wins it all)

After watching the antics of bailor, especially
The guy with the colorful hair, I switched to NC hard.

Really poor officiating to let the guy totally getting away with mugging NC until one of their hot scorer had enough, retaliated and was kicked out of the game.

Never sad to see bailor lose and listen to Scott Drew feel sorry for himself.

RE: Neighbors.... Tech husband & wife on me left - they are cool. Neighbor on me right played club rugby at ou... i will call him "decent" on the ou AH scale.

FWIW, other neighbors are a mixed bag. None are hostile toward THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS which is fine by me.

I hope the Spiders enjoyed their Round 1 upset. Kinda wish they had prevailed in Round 2 so they could have run up against Kansas in the Sweet 16. That would have been ugly.

 

The only aggies that I root for are the ones from New Mexico State. Particularly when they are taking on Arkansas.
