Have been once as part of a wedding so we did not handle any of those plans. What is the best way to get the best airfare/ room rates and anything else. We have some friends going during the first part of Feb. and they want us to meet them. I thought about going a couple days early to take the wife to a show or maybe hit the Grand Canyon if it was not too far. Maybe some golf. thanks for the help.
southwest is usually your best bet for airfare, although out of Dallas, American almost always beats SW's rates to Vegas and they fly direct. Never done it for Vegas, but priceline is great for hotels. google biddingfortravel and there is a good messageboard there that shows what hotels people are getting for their bids in most major cities. If you make a similar bid in the same timefram (with the same star requirement) you have a good chance at getting that same hotel.
