Thoughts: I'm glad we only dropped to 15. We're the highest ranked 2 loss team. SMU breaks into the top 20!
Looks about right, though I'm not as high on Penn State, Oregon, or Utah. Going to be real interesting after the LSU/Bama game. Oklahoma will be in drivers seat for that 4th spot...with Wisky and others lurking. Would be a great turnaround for us if we could work our way back into the championship game and knock them out of the CFP. Likely B1G has one undefeated and unlikely they have two. Most likely scenario is OU in at #4 unless we take them out...hard to see anyone else doing it. Looks like LSU/Bama, Ohio State Clemson, OU from my vantage point in that order to end season.
Well, they ARE still living up to their hashtag...after all, doesn't it stand for "We're Ranked Thirty Something"? And with the 'also receiving votes' category factored in, that seems to be the case
On the Big 10–it’s impossible to have 2 undefeated teams as the winner of the East takes on the winner of the West for the championship game. Most likely it will be aOSU v Wisconsin, but Penn St, Michigan, or Iowa could still slip in. The winner of the Big 10 championship game is probably a shoe in for the playoffs, even with one loss, unless it’s Iowa (which is unlikely).
Yes..that is what I was getting at... The undefeateds will either play each other and/or meet in the championship. You got it. Thanks
