I wish they'd go back to the loser fitting ones. Damned Nike. KD, D-Gib, LA, Augustin, and co. looked flat-out baller in those unis.
You are missing the most important part of the uniform. The robotic arm controller (that looks like a shooter sleave on steriods) that gives a shooter 100% accuracy on FT's.
i hope NIKE integrated some hyper elite free throw shot accuracy boosting polymers somewhere in all that ugly *** business going on on the back.
This is awesome! This is the coaching staff's answer to our free throw problems! This will divert our attention from the actual free throw shots. Free throws? What free throws? GENIUS!
Works well for Notre Dame when the put on the green threads...wait, er...forget it. Rick, lose the unis
Oh. My. Gawd. To quote Samir Naga...nagah....nagagha.......never mind: "This is terrible, this idea."
Duke was the first team to don this new line of uniforms, almost exactly a year ago: www.collegehoopsjournal.com/2009/02/23/duke-now-31-percent-lighter-than-your-favorite-team/
GigoloJoe, that is not quite accurate. Both have sublimated images on the back, but the Texas ones are an even newer and lighter material. Also, I believe the Olympic team wore the Duke-type jerseys before Duke got them last year.
Very good, gdu. I stand corrected. I saw the images while watching Duke/Carolina last night and made an assumption.
If anyone cares, they are selling the orange tops and bottoms of these at the Co-op. Anybody know if these are a one time deal (for rivalry week) or if they are our new uniforms (design or material). Shorts are very weird in person BTW. The dots on the shorts are actually holes. I'll post pictures later.
