Tom just sealed his fate. Not a matter of if, it’s now a matter of when.

This was clearly the work of HornInChicago and Worsterman. They posted their dinner pic at Angelo's in FW. I bet they convinced Ewers family that this would seal the deal with TH and Quinn can recommit after the UM deal.

We hired an arrogant fake. He's all talk. The outcome was predictable. When he lost the Brockermeyers, it was the equivalent to the Titanic hitting the iceberg. Only our sinking was slower. Until now. The ship is going down.

There are few kids that bleed orange anymore. These kids are looking for a school that they can showcase their talent. I cant blame him for decommiting. Why go to a splintered team with a coach who cannot develop him. He will end up at Alabama or Ohio State. Good luck to him. Shows he has more sense than the powers that control Hermans job

Wow. I missed this. We're definitely taking on water. Did we lose Milroe due to the original commitment? That is implied by the author of the article.

This program needs either a huge public commitment to Herman (similar to when Clint Murchison gave Tom Landry a ten year contract extension instead of firing him after winning only 13 games in his first three years as HC of the Cowboys) or an absolute change with a big name and unfortunately, only Herman Meyer can deliver the excitement it will take to turn this around with the recruits.

    That's my opinion.

Hes a guy real plugged in with other prospects and....hate to say it....but this program is in deep trouble right now. Whatever the narratives are out there, you can bet those kids are aware and talking about them.
I'm usually a real optimistic dude... but I'm a real dude, too, and this is just about no worse news the program could have received this Friday...

He mentioned something about "THE ADMINISTRATION and THE COACHES" as being his reasons.....

....what do you think that is referencing??? (besides the DOUBLE BIRD tribute from our CHILD in the ROOM....)

I think we are set for the next few years with the QB room we have right now.
    Their will be other recruits.

I’m hopeful Texas wakes up, fires Herman and hires a coach that understands leadership of a major program. I’d take Urban despite his baggage. My guess is this kid would reconsider then, but no way he comes after witnessing what Sam has gone through.

You know recruiters have been whispering in the ear of all our commits and others that have UT on their list.

    Stuff like...

    Herman's days are numbered kid
UT may have a new coach this season or next - do you want to play for an unknown HC?
Do you want to commit to / play for a program on the way down?
Texas has great talent but they are not getting coached up
UT is not sending many guys to the NFL
    Etc. etc.

Goes without saying they're hearing it from coaches at other colleges as well. Remember when we were the ones flipping big time recruits? We're going backwards now.

The Herman regime is doing the equivalent of grinding seed corn at this point and is compromising the future. I'd give a shiny quarter to know what the administration is thinking but from where I'm standing this has become critical because the situation is snowballing. How likely is it that Tom Herman can even fix the mess that he has made? Mack couldn't fix his and it set us back even further.

Some of you seem to be rather relaxed or indifferent about these disturbing setbacks...
