At some point we do need to tier out the MDs. Here's a starting point for the list. Seems like something we could polish up during the offseason.

BMD is taken already, so let's use it.
MMD - Medium money donor - Middling money donor?
    AMD - Average money donor
    TMD - Tiny money donor
    mMD - microscopic money donor

The fun part of college football used to be players loving the school they played for. Y'all can help pay guys who couldn't give a crap about Texas if y'all want to.

    Not me.

Not sure it needed fixing. I din't say it was illegal now. I said, or inferred, that players will now likely just go wherever the NIL money is highest, not to the school they grew up loving.

i was just playing with the words around players being paid. i understand your sentiment.

i'm not in favor of the NIL changes. but I think they're here to stay. so I want my school to do it the best. rules change, you have to change to win by the rules. that's all.

I did it more as a bit. I’m not under the impression that my $10 will be anything more than a rounding error.
Shoot I bet I cost UT money as the cost of paperwork to process this is more than a Hamilton.

Also, hoping Sark catches me in the stands and gives me a quick thumbs up.

Heard on the radio that so far Texas leads the nation in total athletic NIL deals with slightly over $10 million dollars. At UT, Football leads the way with the most dollars and men's basketball is second.

You'll be surprised to know that softball has inked the 3rd most money and baseball is 10th behind almost every other major sport...volleyball, womens basketball, etc. That shocked me.

Anyone interested in helping out the baseball team can specifically direct their money to their fund.

I am seriously surprised if the original post was correct about having trouble finding a link since I get multiple emails a day, most from students. Of course there are so damn many requests for money coming out of Austin that it's really difficult to remember which one is for what "cause".

I get a ton, and I’m a nobody. Can only image how many someone of your stature receives.

I'll continue to give college sports my attention up until the uniforms start looking like NASCAR driver's unis. But attention is all they'll get from me. My philanthropy begins with Hornfans and ends with the Human Fund.

It’s official, my $10 donation has actually cost the program as I received a cool packet with a TexasOne car emblem.

Yeah, CDC wrote me a quick memo in the packet and asked I refrain from participating again.
