Hey but at least Rick is letting the kids fulfill their "NBA dreams", right?

We're the 4th best team in the state. Nice. Do you think this would fly in football?

Someone please explain how there are 6 teams ahead of us with 7 losses. I'm just as upset as anyone else in Longhorn nation about the collapse but what makes these other teams so much better than Texas? The 7 loss teams range from 7 to 25 with us being the worst in the coaches poll. Ohio State is getting a lot of support by the pollsters for a team that has lost to teams about as even to our conference losses.

Three road wins against ranked opponents helps them, too. At Cal (now unranked), at Purdue (before Hummel was hurt), at MSU. Texas has no road wins over ranked teams, just the neutral court wins over Pitt (unranked at the time) and UNC (unranked and ridiculed now).

But, as much as anything, it is a case of "What have you done lately?" Polls tend to weigh recent games more heavily. You know that.

Nothing like being 15 spots behind a team with the same record that you defeated by double digits.

My bad. The Cal game was on a neutral court.
