Obama to deliver speech in Cairo

It is unusual for a US president to be in the region and not include Israel on his itinerary.

Have we ever said we are/were at war with Islam? Radical Islamic Fundamentalist Terrorists yes but not with the religion. Don't see why he needs to make a statement like that.

 

I don't think we have apoligized to Egypt yet, need to get that done. Then it is on to Germany, I am sure we did something wrong to them.

Name someone that has a sucessful policy with radical muslims.

 

He might want to stop by Japan and apologize for those two unfortunate "incidents" in August of 1945 that saved hundreds of thousands of U.S. G.I.'s lives. God only knows which of us would not be here if Truman had not made that decision.

 

I guess my next question is what exactly is the strategy? Do we think Egypt is going to jump in to the war on man-caused disasters?

as a critic of Obama on HF, I need to weigh in. We are NOT at war with Islam and there is NOTHING WRONG WITH OBAMA saying so. I don't at all understand why anyone has an issue with Obama assuring the millions of peaceful Muslims that we hold nothing against them.

 

Perhaps for the same reason BHO is saying it???
