Considering what a huge part the EOT is in the culture of UT and specifically UT athletics you should expect as long as there are misguided dumbasses calling it racist there will be a lot of outrage/push back against that. It's not going away anytime soon.

Quick - name five UT sports that have finished higher - at least once - in the entire past 15 years than our volleyball team has this past year alone.
I'll spot you one: Men's swimming

If you can't do that, name three UT sports that have won more national titles in the past 15 years than volleyball has in the same amount of time.

After you've done either of those, you can complain about how awful our volleyball team is.
