    Could be worse. I like the idea of Johnson getting more snaps anyways. Okafor doesn’t (or didn’t) fill me with confidence when on the field

    I want as many good players as we can have. Hope he changes his mind.

    I'm not sure I'd call this expected, and it is not a good thing to lose a Senior olineman with experience...whether he was set to start or not.

    There is speculation that Spring football would have been a determining experience on whether he would stay as a starter or be a GT somewhere else. Evidently he lost confidence in himself with no Spring practice to help him along.

    ...too bad. I wish he'd stayed.
    Maybe he could have benefited from a dose of Stuart Smalley's Daily Affirmation...

    Maybe Okafor does not have enough game time nasty? He seems to have the physical talent.

    If I wasn't the best at what I did, I worked my butt off until I was. Too many of these kids quit instead of seeing things through. There is something you learn in life about perseverance and fighting through the hard times.
