LZR tonight. It'll be nice to see them in a "smaller" venue again.

    They suck.

Stand in the front and yell "Bunky wants to hear MELT SHOW" about 50 times. Rhett will get a big kick out of that.

I haven't seen them in a long, long time. I love the Old 97's.

Fun show. They mentioned new album just cut, probably out in April.

Wonder why the Austin show was not on their website?

But am going to the New Years Eve bash in Dallas at the Longhorn Ballroom.

Are they still doing their Christmas show under a different name? That may be one reason it wasn't listed. One year, they did the show under the name "The Satellite Rides".

Good show last night. They played two new songs I think.

It was an ok show. I liked their show at Stubb's a few months ago better.

Robert Earl Keen's show was much better on Friday. He might be the only good thing Aggy has ever produced.

Saw them in the parking lot at Reliant for the Texas Bowl - Damn good show considering it was in a parking lot and it was basically free.

Enjoyed the show as always - could even watch from the front row (which was about 10 yards from the stage).

Ken was getting into it on lead guitar

Anybody have any advice on the Longhorn Ballroom.

    Bad sight lines?
    Bad sound spots?
    Easy restroom and bar access?
    Parking and Directioins?
    Nearby eating advice?

I'm going to drive by there now so it's that much easier later tonight.

And what about the opening bands, in particular Boys Named Sue?

Seen the Drams, formerly the front man for Slobberbone. Hit and miss w/ some good songs.

I thought that show was good, but not great. Didn't like the set list that much. The Longhorn Ballroom is not without its charms, but overall the location and beer lines are a pain in the *** and the acoustics were not great. We waited in line an hour to get our beers but fortunately they let me buy a twelve pack and fill it with ice so we were good after that. On the bright side it was easy to get fairly close.

I think the House of Blues is cheesy but liked the Old 97's show much better there.

Wish I had known it was BYOB hard liqour.

Actually, on second thought, it was probably a really good thing that I did not know that bit of info.

Yeah, the lines sucked, but still had a pretty good time.

I liked the set list last night. Got "Barrier Reef" out of the way, played some nuggets off of Too Far to Care that I hadn't heard in a while.

Lines to get beer sucked. That we can all agree on.
