I've seen quite a few preseason ranking lists. At first glance, this one left me raising eyebrows less...not too shabby. Still think Florida and Michigan being pimped by media...bit too high. I believe I would have Georgia ahead of OU. Texas in the 9 slot looks about right. What say you fine people? CBS Sports releases preseason college football rankings
I thought ou was rated a little high as were the gators. aggy ranking will prolly call for boycott....
9 is about right for Texas. ou is rated high because of Hurts (who ended up not being $EC tough enough) and what Riley did with his last two lost cases at QB. It doesn't matter that their sorry defense last season will struggle to be that good this season.
I've seen so many years where we turned out to be overrated in the pre-season polls that I'm perpetually skeptical every August. Now, I do think we finished last year as a legitimate top 10 team but depth on offense and youth on defense having me thinking we should be ranked in the low teens going into 19'. Regardless, this is why we play the games and also consider the source. These guys are my heroes... .. and I'll thank everyone in advance for staying out of my yard.
