Idiot Cincinnati OL. They got a first and goal at the 6 with 34 seconds left and then he just clobbers a guy several seconds after the play had ended for no apparent reason. Now they are back at the 21. Not any more. Anyone who didn't want to be there could just opt out. Yep. I kept pointing out people were anointing him way too early.
Steele is the interim HC for this game at AU. Reading between the lines in all the coaching rumors, it appears that Steele is regarded as the anointed one by enough Auburn big wigs that the new coach was required to keep him on at DC. Makes sense that the golden boy has the reins for the bowl game.
Apparently Georgia didn’t care about playing the first half. We will see if they care about playing the second half. The only way we will know is if they win.
The new Auburn coaching staff needs to get a restraining order to keep Kevin Steele out of the state of Alabama. Auburn is playing like every other Steele coached team I've ever seen. Harsin could turn you into a quality QB, it will be fun to see what he does with Nix.
Thanks for the vote of confidence, but... I kinda doubt Harsin could turn me into a quality QB. My throwing accuracy has never been there, and I couldn’t scramble that fast—even in my prime.
Huge stop on 4th and 1 or 2. Georgia pulled off a nice play action fake and the dude was open, but a Cincinnati DB rocketed from way out of the picture to knock the ball out just after it got to the receiver.
Poms don’t know what station you’re watching but my Ga game on ESPN has commentators, don’t like them but they are on.
Nice goalline stand by NW. Nix three a few errant passes and NW broke up one pass. FG AU. NW 14 AU 6 Almost halftime.
So right now, the rioting thugs from Mississippi State, with their losing record, are the pride of the SEC
Well that is weird in the first half it was all music I just turned back to ESPN and the commentators are speaking. Okay now I understand I had the channel set on ESPNnu.
Fake punt by Cincinnati at their own 30 succeeds. Their rugby punter has looked for it a couple of times before deciding to kick it away. Guess he saw something a little different that time and just ran for it.
I’m sure he’s made some plays, but since I started watching, the Cincinnati QB hasn’t made anything happen.
He made quite a few early. Georgia's pass rush has really stepped up in the 2nd half. Cincy's dumbass lineman getting himself ejected just before halftime may have something to do with it.
Oh man, two feet more on that pass and game over but nice recovery by defender. Maybe they can hold but not confident.
