I know, which is why I pointed out that my original post (the one you replied to with "unless. . . ") was not about an individual team
Just think how upset the wife would be if it was one of those “Hot Russian Women Want to Meet You” ads with photos that keeps popping up...
Baylor had a lot of luck this season. Won several games in OT. That luck seems to have run out since the end of the regular season. Won’t mind if they finish with the goose egg on the scoreboard tonight.
Nice grab by Mims for the TD. One of the biggest differences in Georgia’s play against Baylor and our play against Baylor this year: Georgia generally breaks down well and makes the open field tackles. Georgia stops the big gains after the catch.
yea, but I think we recruit better playing better competition. If we went to the Big and played in front of 100,000 6x a year we'd get better guys. Least the games would be better week in and week out.
So, assuming a Bailor loss means the Big XII will finish the bowel season 1-5. Wins: UT Losses: ou, OSU, KSU, ISU, Bailor
They are better I think. Their D is pretty salty. If they had a QB with a pulse and a better OLine it'd be a pretty good team. Not going to win the SEC, but we're not A&M either. They aren't winning any more games, but they are a better team. My goal isn't just to win the conference, but have the horses to win the NC again. Just don't see that happening in the B12.
It’s clear that Bailor is unmotivated and uninterested in being in the Sugar Bowl after missing the playoffs... ; )
Expand. I'm pretty logical guy and sees things at face value. What blinders am I wearing?? All I'm seeing is OU winning the B12 and getting smacked in the playoffs. Doesn't bode well for us should we get to the playoffs. Re-reading my post let me be clear. I'm saying A&M is better than they were, not that they are better than us.
I'd say 2000-2009 B12 was strong. And it wasn't just OU and Texas. Mizzu had some decent teams. Tech had some decent teams. So did OSU and NU. It's gone downhill since some of those teams bolted. We'll be fine, but I just don't see this current arrangement being viable long term. If I were TCU I'd be nervous long term.
