Funny moment in the East Tennessee State game. They have a cannon they fire off after every score, like we do. They run for a TD early in the 1st quarter to go up 6-0 and the cannon fires. They are lining up for the kick and the cannon fires again, presumably getting ready for the high chance of a made XP - but the ball hadn't been snapped yet. The sound caused the long snapper to go ahead and snap the ball but only a few of the players were actually playing and the kicker wasn't ready yet. In the end all it did was meant they won by 37 instead of 38. Sadly I can't find any video of the incident.

I wasn't super impressed by OSUs defense either, but I am going to write off the performance as 1) first game jitters/sloppiness 2) relaxing more than they should with a big, fat lead But I am going to keep an eye out for further signs of defensive weakness in Stoolwater.
