Rural areas should petition to secede from their states if they don't feel well represented. They should also get electoral votes and 2 Senators each.

I feel dirty "defending" Bubba, but the whole series of posts referred to him.

I'm going to go cleanse myself now.

And if not for the wisdom of the founding fathers, those giant city dwelling crackpots would overwhelm the entire country.

Know quite a few living there, or now down here. Very conservative but almost all were turned off by Trump so they didn't bother to vote. Twice.

The state is becoming more split as time goes on

Amazing how many people, who will only see someone on TV, for the most part,. let themselves be swayed by the media portrayal of someone vs. the policies and good times we were having.

Instead, don't vote and we have the retard in chief. Funny, he is less polished, more rude and boorish than Trump, but he was the media's guy, so it was all brushed aside.

Not to mention the fact that Biden's policies suck and have dragged us straight down the tubes.

Back when I lived in Austin, I listened to Jeff Ward while driving home from the office (if I got out of the office early enough). He said that people don't vote something (like an agenda). They vote against someone. I think there's a lot of truth to that. It explains why people will vote to elect a president and then two years later vote to put the opposition party in charge of Congress.

Think about Trump. Did you really vote for him, or did you vote against Hillary? I think many who voted for Biden did the same. They weren't so much embracing his dumbass agenda as much as they were rejecting Trump. They weren't rejecting his agenda. (They weren't that deep.) They were rejecting him.

Yes. It didn't start with Trump, but modern day national elections have devolved into nothing more than Jr High student council president style popularity contests.

It's why air-headed morons like Beto can run for office over and over again without simply being laughed off the debate stage.

Biden is a bigger racist than Trump and it’s not even close.

A token or a trophy. She's there for liberal white people to be able to say, "I voted for a crackpot socialist who hates Christians, Jews, and white people in general. Ain't I special?"

That is absolutely the way Biden was elected - people weren't voting for Biden, they were voting against Trump. I believe most of the folks who voted for Biden had no clue what the policies were in the Democratic platform. I went online and read the Democratic platform - and the more I read, the more I realized they are wrong!
