Back when I lived in Austin, I listened to Jeff Ward while driving home from the office (if I got out of the office early enough). He said that people don't vote something (like an agenda). They vote against someone. I think there's a lot of truth to that. It explains why people will vote to elect a president and then two years later vote to put the opposition party in charge of Congress. Think about Trump. Did you really vote for him, or did you vote against Hillary? I think many who voted for Biden did the same. They weren't so much embracing his dumbass agenda as much as they were rejecting Trump. They weren't rejecting his agenda. (They weren't that deep.) They were rejecting him.

That is absolutely the way Biden was elected - people weren't voting for Biden, they were voting against Trump. I believe most of the folks who voted for Biden had no clue what the policies were in the Democratic platform. I went online and read the Democratic platform - and the more I read, the more I realized they are wrong!
