Defense gets cleaned up. Cockroaches get smashed. Offense rolls again
I hope we skunk them, but I don't feel good about this one. At least we get them at home, so we get the W, but no blowout.
Patterson goes for 2 to win at the end.
2 wins against TCU since they joined the Big 12 in 2012. Biggest win was 30-7. Patterson coaches them up against Texas. Doubt Texas scores 50.
If Texas wins, it's by maybe 10 points.
Texas 40 TCU 24
Patterson always has the toads ready to play the Horns. Agree this will not be a blowout. I'm thinking something like:
THE University of Texas 38
Last year Texas absolutely laid an egg in the second half in Fort Worth and blew a game they had no business losing. Last Saturday was so reminiscent of TCU last year, as Texas farted around all second half in Lubbock, but then somehow found a way to win. I dont have a real feel for this team. They can score points but the OL is going to get abused by Patterson's defense and our DL and defensive backfield don't exactly inspire confidence right now. I think the Horns can win a close one but they cant turn the ball over and have the special teams breakdowns we saw against Tech. I will say:
I just don't know about this one
Patterson's teams are prepared
Herman and his staff finally figure Patterson out. It’s about time.
11am kickoff..cool temperature..Patterson loses 15lbs just in pregame. That guy sweats more than............
(fill in your own punchline).
TH hasn't had a single B12 game that could be considered a blowout since taking over at Texas. This will be no different, but I expect a W.
I'm thinking the defense will have completed a pretty intensive week of focus on fundamentals (like pass coverage assignments and tacking). Frogs will hang tough because of their defense, but Horns will pull away late. Horns dominate Time-of-possession and the Frog defense wears down late in the game.
GJ likes that 63 number for the Horns!

I’m drinking that Orange Kool-Aid with a healthy dose of gin. Plus, I have a lot of faith in the offense for this game.

Dicker the kicker needs to be accurate on Saturday.
The Purple Nemesis keeps it close but can't outscore our offense.
Duggan completes 3 passes to Texas defenders. And about 24 out of 45 to his guys.
Duggan is NOT Bowman.
Special teams need to play error free.
Sam has another fine day. Our offense comes up big enough for a win.

As much as I'd love for this to be a payback game from last year, I don't think we're firing on all cylinders yet.
Texas 33, TCU 29.
TCU is average, thus we play average.
