I would normally agree, but it's Inglewood, a place most of the attendees wouldn't know existed if they hadn't built the stadium. The "Rams fans" in attendance won't be "fans", but rather the "look at me"/"How do I get on TV" crowd, who are so busy trying to be recognized that they will never know the score.
I saw a headline on ESPN today about how Burrow is playing with house money as no one expected a Super Bowl at this point in his career. That's an interesting dynamic that, when paired with the pressure on Stafford to be the savior, might be fun to watch. I wasn't planning on watching but just might to see how it plays out. *Edit - I went back and saw the quote came from that jackhole Stephen A Smith so now I'm sorry I posted it...
...I was mainly thinking familiarity with the stadium and how it looks and feels....comfortable... Not really fan support or anything
Here's an interesting little tidbit... "Since 2000, only two teams have covered as 4-point favorites or more. That’s an against-the-spread (ATS) record of 2-10-1. Favorites of three or fewer points, though, went 5-3 ATS over this time frame." Rams currently at -4.5
Just noticed this thread...I'll offer up my lock of the week... Take the kitty-cats and the 4.5 if you can still get it...some are down to 4. You WILL NOT want a shady book only offering 3.
I predict the final score will be LA 23 - Cincy 20. Please send the winnings to me via US Mail . . . cash will do just fine.
