Gawd, I hate this "poll" and its made-up "points."

I'll bet none of the other polls have Arizona in the Top 10.

you would put as 18th in the nation?

i thought we would be top 5 in every poll with KR coming back. of course, that assumes he'll be back.

Aren't we considered like the current DUKE BASKETBALL of college baseball? Always a top team?

Oregon State is always good, so is Rice, CSF.... who else is a staple?

Who cares where we are ranked right now, I'm with one of the posters above who is more concerned about pitching, this is definately the reason we have been bumped, no Huston.....no J. Brent Cox...no pitching=no titles=no need to be ranked unnecessarily high, raising expectations. I know we have the bats, I like to see both, good solid pitching and great hitting with solid defense (or is that three) This is the only reason I'm not too overly excited about the season because we haven't had the pitching now for two years, we went on an unbelievable run of about 4-5 years in a row with a dominant closer and those were awesome years, I yearn for those to come back.
