The Cackling buffoon can claim the ports are open 24/7 but there is far more than just emptying ships of the containers. There STILL have to be trucks to haul the trailers. There STILL has to be the chassis trailers to put the containers on. Oh, and there STILL have to be drivers to drive the trucks.

The bumbling Ron Klain administration has not fixed a single thing...

"So, we are and have been full of crap and know it, and we also know you morons will just go right along with it."

    Is that right?

"There is the danger that there will be so many people who are being isolated who are asymptomatic for the full ten days, that you could have a major negative impact on our ability to keep society running. So the decision was made of saying let's get that cut in half."

So cutting in half the isolation is Science? Mr. Science. I knew not to trust this weasel.

Remember when doctors could be led to recommend cigarettes that were less irritating on the throat? Same thing here. Anyone who thinks doctors and scientists can't be convinced to come upon with BS is, frankly, stupid.

Chief Justice John Roberts of the U.S. Supreme Court blasted attempts to exert “inappropriate political influence” in his year-end report for 2021, as President Joe Biden and the Democrats consider proposals to expand or pack the Court with liberals.

“The Judiciary’s power to manage its internal affairs insulates courts from inappropriate political influence and is crucial to preserving public trust in its work as a separate and co- equal branch of government,” Roberts said in the 2021 report.

The USSC hasn't been co-equal for a while. The hierarchy is President, then Supreme Court. The Legislature might as well not exist.

Does anyone else think it is a little interesting that Breyer has not stepped down to allow Biden an opportunity to go full-lefty on the next Justice? If you are reading the tea leaves, Biden won't be the nominee in 2024. the Senate may very well belong to the GOP by the end of 2022. it seems like the window for Biden to name a justice may be closing very fast and Breyer doesn't seem to be playing ball. Perhaps he is also afraid of how liberal the Dem's have become ? Maybe he is using it as leverage to keep them from pushing the "packing" agenda ?

Well, he's got a full year to retire and go through the process, so I'm not sure that Breyer is necessarily avoiding retirement to screw with Democrats. He is probably sticking around for personal reasons. If he's still on the Court in July, then I may have to revisit this issue.

At this point, there's still plenty of time for him to retire, for Biden to name a successor, and for the Senate to confirm him or her. Keep in mind that there's no filibuster on nominees anymore, so they can move the nomination quickly if necessary. Furthermore, though it wouldn't shock me if Manchin votes to ultimately reject Biden's nominee (who will almost surely be a staunch leftist on social issues), Susan Collins (and/or perhaps Murkowski and Romney) will likely be deferential enough to vote to confirm. (Collins voted to confirm Sotomayor and Kagan.)

Deference is a big reason why she voted to confirm Kavanaugh. Unless there's a big ethical or qualifications problem, she tends to vote for the president's nominees.

Depends on who they nominate. Don’t put it past them to nominate a whacko

She'll vote to confirm a wacko if the wacko is qualified on paper and doesn't have ethical problems. That's why she voted to confirm Sotomayor, who's a wacko.

It amazes me the level of idiocy the dems will dip. I dare ole camel toe to ask the families of 9/11 and Pearl Harbor victims if it is similar. How many children are still alive who lost their dad or mom. I still see and laugh at the videos I see of this "insurrection" with the cops opening gates and doors inviting them in.

It is so strange that a president can go on TV and talk about how the previous guy undermined democracy and then immediately pivot to "we need to tear down the filibuster so my party can unilaterally get its way".

The problem with Liberals is their belief in "moral imperatives." They cynically talk about Democracy but we are not a Democracy and they want to destroy the Constitutional process in order to get what they want.

They are able to sell their message to emotionally impaired Americans who don't care one bit about anything except theirs. And it works.

A Democracy is basically "winner take all." They are liars to tell us our Democracy is at risk. What makes it at risk is their mentality that a one vote majority means a complete change in how things are done. It COMPLETELY marginalizes the losing side. But they hide behind the past to oppress people today.
