Had some outstanding enchiladas on Culebra in SA yesterday. The kind with a rich Tex Mex gravy and just asking to be garnished with diced white onions. Should I go back today? Because I really wanna go back.

    You misspelled "Nuisance"

    Sapo,

Go back today to make sure it was as good as you remember, although if it is, you may need to go back Thursday for a third opinion.

Get your Fuddruckers while you can. The Pappas brothers keep shrinking the burgers and increasing the prices.

They are trying to sell the chain or at least franchise some of them. Chris & Harris are proving they don’t know how to do burgers or cafeterias. They seem to do well with the “get em in, give em more food than they want for more money than they want to spend, and get out the door”.

There are 2 Uncle Julio's and Chuy's near me up here. Maybe we'll go to one of them later today.

George Bailey No beans in my chili, thank you

Can you provide us with the name of this fine establishment? I long for rich Tex Mex gravy. I'm damned tired of sour cream gravy, chipotle gravy, green chile queso gravy or whatever the hell these white folks that run Tex Mex cafes are putting on enchiladas these days.

p.s. Screw aggy. No one wants to be their rival, not even LSU.

I put a 5 lb pork roast on the pit and let it smoke about 6 hours over mesquite. My wife was very happy.

Texas A&M? I'm not sure who are what you are referring to.

Kind of a religious thing, right?
They did in the past here have freshly cut steak sandwiches. A lot less fat.

Most commercial burgers are 20% fat which is way too much to me. I usually go 7% at home and cook it only medium rare.

Are they good for our property values?

Shows a total lack of empathy and leadership from the City Council and Mayor. It is of no benefit to anyone to say, "Hey, you can go camp on that slab of concrete over there but good luck with running water and toilet facilities." We will ignore the other detriments of camping on public sidewalks and near highways and interstates, of which there are many.

If you really want to help economic refugees, build an appropriate camp for them that has health maintaining capabilities. Crapping on sidewalks benefits no one. Lack of sanitation is a public health risk for everyone. Just putting the unfortunate example of these people's circumstances on public display is a disgusting lack of concern and dignity robbing for these people. If a government is going to address these economic refugees, it must create a viable plan.

I know that is not a popular option as real estate owners do not want any increase in taxes. But it is a problem significant enough to address thoroughly, I would argue. Saying it is not is like some of my contemporaries who think they should not pay school taxes because they have no children in school. The benefit to society of an educated populace is discounted only by the selfish and ignorant. Same with these people who are struggling to stay alive. Get them stabilized, educate and train them and most will go on to be productive citizens again. Just don't ignore them like noxious weeds because they are only in your neighbor's yard and not yours, yet..
