So I'm watching a LHN replay of the '95 beatdown of Texas Tech, and it reminded me how good Shon Mitchell was. It's a shame he'll always be remembered as the guy who took carries away from Ricky Williams.
Shon was good for like a 60-yard run once a game. I think the bigger shame is that he didn't qualify out of HS and help us immediately on those 1993-94 teams that were better than our record indicated. We probably could have finished out the SWC with three straight titles had Shon been on them.
