AAS reporting that Jordan Whittington has a minor groin injury Mason Ramirez may earn that new scholly on Game One! Don't read this if you have a queasy stomach ... Bohls: If you're worried about Texas' running backs depth, there's a reason — you should be | Hookem.com
Whittington has had a sore groin since fall practice started. He'll just play sore. However, I'd rather see Ramirez or Smith out there than Porter. Toenail should've stayed though.
I hope that the NFL starts penalizing some of these who jump ship because they don't get to start right away...eliminate draft position bonuses and make them sign performance-based contracts. That might eliminate some of the entitlement mentality while also sorting out those who remember that effort is what earns the starter spot. If you are second or third on the chart, then start showing up in practice...the rest will sort itself out. Instead, we have kids that look for the transfer portal as soon as something doesn't go their way...
