Better to find out now than later.
So true. It amazes me how many people “forget” once you hit click, it’s out there ... for all to see. smh
I’m glad social media didn’t exist when I was a kid
Thank God my kids can't Google me and pull up a bunch of crap from my teens and twenties.
Exactly. I have some sympathy for these kids today because many of us have said and done dumb things in our youth. Then we grow up and usually do much better, and don’t have those dumb things hanging around to haunt us.
I think the difference is that when you did questionable/objectionable stuff in your teens and twenties, you probably didn't immediately turn to a public forum and proudly show off your practices to thousands of followers. Therein lies the difference between those who can handle their social media and those who cannot.
JFF wasn't posting himself partying in austin. i wasn't running around naked at another fraternity's party at 1am, but i'm definitely glad i went to school before cell phones.
