I hope this kid becomes the next Jason Witten, but regardless, going into Jenks is a great thing. Coach is establishing a larger territory.

When was the last time we had consistent use of a TE in the passing game - Jermichael F?

 

When was the last time we had a real passing game?

 

When McCoy was QB.

 

With just decent QB play -- and I am hopeful of much more this year -- we should have a dynamic passing game. In fact, I'm not sure that I can remember Texas having a better group of receivers, ever, including the Williams, Thomas, Johnson years. If another team has better corps than Duvernay, Johnson, Foreman, Burt & Oliver, I'd like to know about it.

 

Duke, leave Burt off that list. Herman's OC and his receivers coach should share the Assistant Coach of the Year Award if they can teach Burt how to run a pattern and catch the ball.
