The original British one was hysterical...I didn't see the American re-make because it pisses me off that Hollywood can't come up with ideas of its own anymore.
I saw the British version (2007) and liked it and just discovered that Peter Dinklage, the actor who is an achondroplasic dwarf, played the same role in both movies. Rotten Tomatoes gives the British version 62% and the American version (2010) 40%.
I'm not sure about their rating, but no one is harder on movies than me and I thought it was very good.
You can stream it on Netflix right now, for those who have the capability. Sounds like it would be a good one to check out, and you can't beat the price!
Seen it twice, thought it was great both times. Both the American and British versions are based off an Indian movie with the same plot.
Brother: "He's in a better place, he was sick for so long." Chris Rock: "Since when does being dead beat being sick?" Funny line.
