Finished up his Nebraska career. He ended up being a darn good player. He was one Texan who's career I followed even though he ended up going out of state. Nebraska ended up tailoring their offense around him as he stepped up when he was healthy. Congrats.
I was in Lincoln when Bailey kicked the field goal in the snow. That was 2007. It is the end of 2012 and he was still there. That is FIVE years. Must have had a medical plus a regular shirt to I think. He seems like he has been there forever.
Burkhead was RB for a Plano HS team that went deep into the playoffs. I followed him - the kid was tough, a baller - a winner. I wanted UT to recruit him because I too thought he would be a good fit. Didn't work out but he sure helped Neb while he was there. I wish him nothing but the best.
