alright, as long as we're having fun with possible conferences, why not form the Right-Wing Conference of some of America's most like-minded conservative schools, who also happen to have "decent" athletic programs:

    BYU
    TAMU
    Va Tech
    TCU
    SMU
    Air Force
    Army
    Navy
    Baylor
    Tulsa
Members for sports other than football: Oral Roberts, Citadel, Furman, Liberty)

Of course this is completely in jest! ...and I'm sure a couple schools aren't quite so conservative as their name suggests... but not a bad list of schools from top to bottom, good geographic spread, mix of tv markets, and all these schools are ones in need of a conference, or without a long history of conference affiliation. And the Ags would fulfill their wildest dream of being top dog (or close to it).

The Naval Academy and other service academies deserve more from us than the insult of associating them with aggy.

    Go Navy! [IMG]
