alright, as long as we're having fun with possible conferences, why not form the Right-Wing Conference of some of America's most like-minded conservative schools, who also happen to have "decent" athletic programs: BYU TAMU Va Tech TCU SMU Air Force Army Navy Baylor Tulsa Members for sports other than football: Oral Roberts, Citadel, Furman, Liberty) Of course this is completely in jest! ...and I'm sure a couple schools aren't quite so conservative as their name suggests... but not a bad list of schools from top to bottom, good geographic spread, mix of tv markets, and all these schools are ones in need of a conference, or without a long history of conference affiliation. And the Ags would fulfill their wildest dream of being top dog (or close to it).
