RIP Colin Powell

Though I vehemently disagreed with the case made to go back into Iraq (GWII) he was a trailblazer as an African American leader in the military. When I was active duty he had the total respect of those in uniform. He was a Republican before the recent change, more in line with Reagan. I was a Republican back then too for many of the same reasons I suspect. RIP General.

Agreed. From my perspective, any day past 75 will be gravy.

 

Some days I feel like any day past 50 will be gravy.

 

I've said the same of many a covid patient death.

 

I have a myriad of health problems but long life runs in my family. My mom's 88 and my great aunt is 101 so there might be hope for me.
