RIP Deron Gus UPDATED I/3/08 at 1030 AM

Deron remains in a very grave condition.

 

Prayers to Deron, Coach Gus, and the whole Gustafson family. I got to know Deron pretty well at UT in the late 80s. Didn't quite see eye-to-eye on everything but always thought he was a good person.

 

Thoughts and prayers with the entire Gustafson family during this obviously difficult time.

 

Horrible news. Really puts things in perspective. Prayers for him and his family.

 

Darron passed away this morning around 9:00 am. He had accepted Jesus and is now in a much better place.

 

I just heard through Ty Herrington and Scott Wilson that Deron Gustafson died this morning of acute liver and kidney failure.

 

Tragic news.

sad, i looked at my Texas cap last night that I kept from my youth with signatures, saw his on there.

Our prayers and heartfelt condolences go out to Coach Gus and Deron's entire family.

 

I ahve to send prayers for Deron, and condolences to the Gustafson family. A sad day not only for the Gustafsons, but for the Longhorn family.

 

I played LLBB with Deron, went to HS with him, and his Mom was a S-Studies teacher of mine. Very sad to be sure.
