RIP Major Richard 'Dick' Winters from BOB

    Just saw on tv that he Is dead at the age of 92. He is a true hero. God rest his soul.

    I was just telling my familly that we need to watch Band Of Brothers again. We've watched it at least once a year since it came out. One of my daughters has taken an interest in WWII, and I credit BOB for that. Major Winters was a hero in every sense of the word.

    The comments made by the actual people were some of the best parts of the series, and his comments made it clear that he was a leader at heart.

    You just feel close to Easy Company. RIP.

    Oh man, I did not know this.

    Simply put, he was a gentleman, and he was a badass as well. Men like Major Winters are the reason the USA won WW II.
