No way. Government involvement in that sort of thing ALWAYS leads to a reduction in competition not an increase. They work deals with the corporations so that their market position becomes more entrenched not less.

A lot of Nazis were opportunists. Like Oscar Schindler. And most of the People Stalin killed were not socialists. The Kulaks he starved by the millions, etc the Jew haters may or may not have been socialists. As was recognized by other socialists at the time, Hitler’s brand was sort of odd. Most socialists were at least ideological internationalists. Hitler’S cult was self described National Socialist. It's fair to call many of FDR's programs socialist in nature. Some of his furthest reaching programs were struck down as unconstitutional. Further, he did in fact have a lot of actual communists in his government. This is something no longer in dispute.

I think every PD in the nation should be endorsing Trump in the chaos erupting in our metros. I don't see conservatives trying to defund our PDs. The compassionate thought on Blake has not been publicly announced by anyone as high as Carson in this administration. Heck i read on this forum today that Blake is a convicted violent criminal thus deserving of what happened.

So he became a national socialist as well. He pushed very pro-Russian policies stripping non-Russian Soviets of their language, political power, culture, and history. Then you make a very ignorant statement about England and FDR. The English Socialists were the ones starting the social programs. FDR himself sent a group to the USSR to study what Stalin was doing there so that he could implement the same policies in the US. He did too. He started farming cooperatives based on Soviets farm structure. He did everything he could to nationalize the electrical power industry. That is Socialism. State ownership of the means of production. Only a wingnut would think FDR wasn't a socialist.

I said I read on this forum (West Mall) in the Minneapolis Riot thread where it has "Jacob Blake" in caps and "Child Rapist" in caps. It's a misleading correlation that I took to imply his criminal history in some way validating the shooting. And he has not been charged with "Child Rape".
No doubt the responding officers had no clue about that. What validated the shooting was his actions and refusal to flow lawful commands and resist arrest.
