Part Ballet, part colorguard, part Cirque du Soleil. Dunno about awarding medals for it, but Id go see a show sometime.
Funny, I said the same thing to my wife today as she watched, I told her I have no doubt they are athletic as heck, but if it is like a floor show in Vegas I just dont think it is a sport. She gave me a dirty look.
Well its like marching band contests. The first thing I thought of when I saw it today was it was just like an indoor colorguard competition with the balls being thrown around and the formations being performed.
