Are you asking if it is true they were the only two or if it is true that someone on another sight brought this to your attention?

Sad. Not for Sam. One man in the right is a majority. Sad for the rest of the team, who neither deserve to play with Sam, nor wear the uniform of Texas.

Herman's resentment of the fanbase and horrible culture he has fostered has led us to this, the saddest moment in Texas Football history. I wish all the players and coaches that do not care at all about being Longhorns would go somewhere else.

 

Could be that Sam and Dicker have earned so much goodwill with the alumni base that they basically have lifetime employment.

They chose wisely.

 

Words cannot express how truly disappointing that picture is, the connection between the team and the fans is severed and tommy terrific and the cancer players who decided that they would boycott the song can’t leave soon enough.

 

If they hate "us" so much they should go to another school.

Singing the Eyes was a way to connect alumni to students to players. They don't like us or the school but will take the free education, room, and food. They are basically mercenaries. No wonder they play like $hit. I wish them all the worst.

If this is true then get rid of all of them - Sam and Dicker. Done

 

I've seen so many posts over the years about how coach X has ruined the program and will take decades to overcome if ever. Every time I've laughed it off knowing that the right coach can have us in a championship game within 4-5 years.

What Herman has done here in 3.4 years is way beyond losing games. He is decimating the entire culture that has been Texas football for over a century. When an organization no longer has history and tradition to lean on because of hatred built against it, that means someone has to rebuild the entire foundation over again. If he stays much longer our football foundation will be irreparable and I sincerely wonder if Texas football will be relevant again in my lifetime.

I hope he's gone really soon.

Trivia: If you drove north on US 183 to its end, you would wind up at Gores Travel Plaza outside of Seiling, OK. Big whoop.

It says a lot about this team that the guys would let Sam stand out there all by himself singing The Eyes, and it ain't good.

 

Is it really a team anymore?

 

As opposed to a delectable selection of Slim Jims, frozen burritos, and sketchy nachos at the OK terminus.

 

That picture is revealing but exclusive by its limited field. There were more coaches further to the left, and a few, emphasis on a few, more players out there than Sam alone, Dicker being one. In fact I saw at least two Black players out there, might have been more and I cannot identify the ones I saw but they were out there among the ones remaining. I confess I was searching so hard to insure Sam and Herman were there I could have missed a few more but I can tell you there were not many. I doubt an even dozen.
