Has SFA been playing for the national title of late? Getting Sam is actually a feather in the hat for that conference. And, a decent step up for Sam...now they get to see what they can do in non-P5 D-1 ball instead of 1-AA.
Good for CUSA. It looked like they were on the ropes. This new configuration will be a solid football league. And fun to watch, too.
mb, SFA took Tech down to the wire in Lubbock, and had Sam beat until the last minute. This guy that won a Natty at East Texas State has things moving in a positive direction for SFA. SFA is a destination school, while Sam has become a commuter school.
