Very good movie for a first time effort from Lake Bell, who I find oddly attractive (but no boobs in this movie, have to watch HBO reruns for those). It is sort of a romantic comedy but not the icky sort and has some feeling of a mockumentary with all the Don La Fontaine tie ins. Recommend checking it out.
Very good film, I second the recommendation. The reason for the perplexing ellipsis in the title ("In a World...") does eventually become apparent. Lake Bell modestly plays a rather plain-appearing character. I wasn't familiar with her before seeing the film, and was surprised to learn afterwards that "gorgeous model" is one of her professions. Esquire UK did a piece about her, lamenting the fact that the USA has been keeping her a secret. She's also done a "Me in My Place" photo shoot.
