Obvious missing Training Camp is hurting Earl Thomas. He has been a step slow all night and has whiffed on a couple of tackles.

Anybody see Michael Dickson kick the ball off twice - using a drop-kick?

One was because they were kicking from the 50 due to penalty. Dickson popped it up perfectly and it was fielded at the 1. Dude barely made it past the 10.

The second was at the end of the game when they had to onside kick and I guess they figured it would be more unpredictable to handle. Chicago held on to it and recovered though.

Dickson will never overtake Earl or Vince, but he just may be my third favorite Longhorn.

Now, now...he didn't say THAT. He just didn't get into his top five/top ten list ;)

I might be forgetting someone, but off the top of my head Ricky and DJ would round out my top 5. Dickson boots Major down to the 6.

And by the way, I was born in 1969 and didn't start watching football until around 1977. Anyone from before then isn't eligible for my list.

I wonder when the last time anyone used a drop kick in a game...
