Seattle recommendations

    Any recommendations for restaurants in Seattle? I'm looking for places for a nice dinner with Mrs. South Austin, as well as pubs/breweries where we can have a causal meal and enjoy the local adult beverages.

    Any tips are greatly appreciated. [​IMG]

    Etta's near Pike Place market. Hit the brewery in the market as well.

    Ray's Boathouse in Ballard for nice dinner.
    Lockspot in Ballard for fish n' chips and maybe to see guys from Deadliest Catch hanging out.

    Hale's Ales (Fremont/Ballard or Fre-lard)
    Elysian (Capitol Hill or Tangletown)
    Pike Pub and Brewery (at the Market)
    Elliott Bay Brewing (West Seattle or Burien)

    I second the Elliott Bay Brewery.

    Check out Toulouse Petit in Lower Queen Anne. If you are into five star dining, you can't go wrong with Canlis.
