I think contact had a lot to do with neck, back and shoulder injuries. Joints only are designed to be stressed in one plane of motion. Very difficult to condition for hamstring sprains. Your scape goating is weak. Very weak.
Don't think that is known, but when CDC does a year end review he should look in to the S&C program also. It could be possible that some of the techniques aren't optimal.
but yet sprinters and hurdlers put more strain on hamstrings, and the Texas sprinters and hurdlers don't incur the same injury. Yes, you can condition hamstrings, but you have to have an experienced track S&C program.
They all need to drink more milk. Definitely makes bones and cartilage stronger. Probably they have them on kale and oat milk, or other trendy stuff.
Herman believes in very physical practices. We began the season down three scholarship RBs. Then quickly lost most of our defensive backfield. I understand the concept of practicing as it will be on game day. But maybe we don't need to beat the crap out of ourselves quite so much.
Every S&C in recent memory came in as a savior, and left as a failure. That includes Mack’s guy, Charlie’s guy and now possibly Tom’s guy. It’s deja vu all over again. I take all the hype about these guys with a grain of salt. When you over muscle the players, they’re too tight and more prone to injury. Get them into the swimming pool occasionally...
I believe you are correct, though Herman cited lack of enough physical practices leading up as a factor in the RRR this year as team was in a bad situation, injury-wise. Isn't it ironic... ...Don't you think?
